The Children’s Trust Christmas Concert: Cadogan Hall

Christmas is my favourite time of year. A time of caring, sharing, merriment and joy! It is a time for reflection, counting our blessings and thinking of others.

I was introduced to The Children’s Trust Charity by my brother and sister-in-law who have been supporting the charity for years. They invited me on a tour of the Children’s Trust for children with brain injuries at the purpose-built therapy centre at Tadworth, Surrey. It was a magical day to see the wonderful facilities that the Children’s Trust provide for brain-injured children and their families.

Since that visit I have donated Peonica London goodies for their charitable events to be raffled for fundraising.

They kindly invited me to their Christmas concert hosted yearly and 2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of The Children’s Trust Christmas Concert. What a wonderful and special evening.

The concert was held at Cadogan Hall. A perfect venue with its strikingly high ceilings and fabulous acoustics, tucked away just off Sloane Street, Chelsea. It really is a hidden gem.

It was an evening of festive Christmas joy and savouring yummy mulled wine at the interval. The fabulous play list of Christmas tunes created the most amazing evening.

My Mother and I ended the evening at the Colbert, just a two minute stroll to Sloane Square, for a welcome night bite.
