Well its September already, where has the time gone? I feel like the summer flew in, I sort of missed the entire summer with work this year but I did get to go to some really cool places while I was filming. I start filming a travel show on the 10th too so I get to go to Cyprus and the Algarve which I cannot wait for! I had a quiet week this week, I handed in my book so I took some time off to chill and relax, the weather was great too so I lay by the pool in London trying to catch the last of the summer rays!!
My new Fave outfit
I thought I would include my new favourite outfit of this week!! I got the trousers in Maje on sale last week, this outfit is perfect for me because its slightly tomboyish which I love. The top is from H&M and my trainers are from Nike. Buy sunglasses are Celine and I love these, especially on hangover days because they basically cover your entire face, the dream!
BG Survival Race
I was on hand to host the Bear Gryllls survival race again on Saturday in Edinburgh. I love Edinburgh, my parents lived there for a few years and I went to University in Aberdeen so I know it well. The race was brilliant but I didn’t take part as I was on hosting duties, I do have my eye on the London races in October though and Ive roped a few of my friends into it too. Its a brilliant race with loads of obstacles and you can do a 5km or a 10km, I don’t plan on training so I may stick with the 5km!
I worked on some make up videos with my best friend Ashley O’Rourke a few months ago and they’ve been finished so I can show you the first one this week. Ashley has been my go to make up artist for years, she is an absolute genius when it comes to make up. I love everything she does with make up, she makes you look like a better version of yourself without making you look completely different. This week we worked on gorgeous dewy skin, if you read my blog I’m sure you’ll realise I’m obsessed with perfect skin. My skin has been quite bad over the last six months so Ashley has been on hand to show me how to cheat great skin. You can find Ashley on her web site ashleyorourke.ie.
I had a great training session with Maya Saffronhan in Virgin Active this week. Maya is so amazing at training women and she know exactly what areas to target. We did an all over body work out with this session which is what I like to do in the gym anyway. This was a real killer though and you can easily do this one at home to if you improvise with equipment as a lot of it is based on body weight.
