Hello Summa Summa
I had a really good week last week, I went to lots of parties and did some cool shoots so all in all I cant complain. I flew back from Dublin after a weekend filming on Monday afternoon and spent the day writing.
On Tuesday I went ti see Paul Costelloes exhibition ‘Jewels in the mist’ it was a presentation of his drawing and illustrations. They were so gorgeous, I love the way he sketches and I’m obsessed with his clothes so it was a great part of my evening. Paul is such a lovely man as well and he drew me a personalised sketch which I was only delighted with.
After Pauls exhibition I went along to the John Lewis Garden party, it was on the roof of John Lewis and had the most incredible views. I met some friends of mine there so had a catch up with them before heading home. I wore a gorgeous cut out white dress from Peggy Hartanto, I only found her recently and love all of her designs, they’re really fresh and chic. My shoes are from Office and my bag is a gift from my aunt for my birthday.
On Wednesday I went to the Ecotools event in the Ham Yard hotel in Soho, I went with my friend Ashley James and we bumped into Lydia Bright when we were there. Thats the nice thing about London, I always end up bumping into people I know, it wasn’t like that when I started living here three years ago so its definitely my second home now. The event was all about their mytruebeauty campaign to support women empowerment and Im all about girl power so it was nice to be apart of it. My playsuit was from Cmeocollective, its one of my favourite Australian brands, they do it in white too which is perfect for the summer. My boots were from River Island and I never take them off they’re so comfortable.
After Ecotools I headed to the launch for the Atrium kitchen in Camden, my friend Bambi does their PR so I headed along to hang out, stuff my face and drink some lovely cocktails!! My dress is from Caris Closet, its Alex Perry and I love it, my river Island boots made another appearance too!
I had the most amazing shoot on Thursday with photographer Emma Jane, the whole team were amazing and I cant wait to see the shots but I did take some sneaky behind the scenes shots for you guys.
That night I went to an event for Phoenix magazine in the nicest restaurant ever, Patara is an Asian inspired restaurant and if you’re in London you have to go. Im actually getting hungry just thinking about it, thai food is quite healthy too so you don’t need to feel guilty. I wore a dress from Spotted on Celeb which is one of my favourite places to get amazing dresses from and boots from Tony Bianco, I love these boots they’re quite out there so thats why I wore them with a more simple dress.
Off to the Estee Lauder event in Selfridges I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to see Kendall Jenner in the flesh! They were launching her new campaign and she looked incredible, I don’t know how she does it though because everyone just has phones in their hands recording her, myself included!! She is so stunning and posed along with everyone which was nice of her. I wore another dress from Spotted on Celeb and my Louboutins, I loved the chokers they have on so many dresses now and this was one of my favourite dresses I’ve worn in a long time.
The rest of my week was spent chilling out and behaving on a bank holiday which is rarely the case! I think I needed some time out because Ive been so busy lately so I had a lovely weekend and I hope you guys did too…
I got some eyelash extensions the other day and I love them, I never thought Id be into them but now Ive tried them I think Ill have them in all the time! They just make doing make up so much easier and less time consuming. I got the mink ones and they’re quite natural looking but you can go for longer ones too. They last around eight weeks and take an hour and a half to get in but you can get top ups four weeks later and that only takes 45 minutes, they are totally worth the time! I got mine done in the Hush Lash Lounge in Sallins in Ireland by Rachel, she’s so lovely and is brilliant at doing them so I would definitely recommend her. Her website is www.hushlashlounge.com if you want to check her out.
Secret Spa is a new thing Ive been using recently, they have a tonne of amazing make up artists and hair stylist and can cater to your every beauty need right at your house!! I am really picky about how I have my hair and make up done and Ive loved every single person they’ve sent to my house. I got my make up done twice with them during the week, here are the two looks I went for. Its so handy, Im going to get my nails done next and I don’t even have to leave my house, OBSESSED!!
I trained with my trainer Ollie Frost in Reach fitness in Clapham last week, I always love training with him. He never does the same work out and he works every part of your body, I wish I could train with him everyday! Here is a video of what we did so you can copy it…
