Today, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted walking her cocker spaniel pup Lupo in Kensington Gardens once more. As she strolled through the park with a friend, she opted for a LK Bennett brown shearling Darwin jacket, black skinny jeans, and a pair of wellies. It’s that great British Heritage look that she quite typically opts for when she’s off work and relaxing.

If you’re in need of giving your off duty wardrobe a boost, then, here are three ways that you can work Kate Middleton’s look on a range of budgets.

Spare Cash
Remember it’s almost pay day, so, it’s safe to use up the last of your spare cash on a Barbour belted utility waxed jacket, £229.95, and pair of Hunter’s Balmoral classics at £85.

Treat Yourself!
Opt for one of Henry’s sheepskin peacoats in tobacco, £995 from Reiss, with a pair of Hunter’s Balmoral Westerley’s, £285. It’s one fashion choice that you can’ go wrong with, as Kate’s been pictured in near identical items to these on numerous occasions.

Make an Investment
Splash out with Karl Donoghue’s belted shearling coat, £2, 010 at Net-A-Porter.com, and a pair of black Dubarry’s Clare boots, £329 from Harrods. The lavish way to go dog walking!

As the Duchess of Cambridge attended her first public engagement of the year at Hope House Woman’s Shelter, she opted for a monochrome MaxMara wrap dress, as to give us a glimpse of her ever growing baby bump.

It seems like Kate’s choice of dress had clearly been inspired by one of her known favourite fashion designers too, as its loose fit and pattern clearly resembled the number that model, Cara Delevingne (above right) opened ISSA’s AW 13 runway show at London Fashion in.

Apparently, the Duchess paid a discounted £148 down from £298 for the dress in Matches online sale, but if you however haven’t been as lucky as to find such a steal, here’s our pick of some of the highstreet’s best jersey wrap dresses. Perfect with or without a baby bump!

1) Vero Moda at ASOS, Geo Print Dress, £22
2) A Wear at ASOS, Floral Print Wrap Dress, £35
3) Betty Jackson Black, Feather Printed Wrap Dress, £45.50
4) Kendra Silky Long Sleeve Wrap Dress, Boohoo, £15
5) Sinequanone at Miinto, Wrap Dress, £55

Finally!!! – Kate Middleton was spotted out and about last week, when she went along to the unveiling of her first ever official royal portrait at the National Portrait Gallery. The painting was created by the artist Paul Emsley, and the Duchess even took part in two sittings earlier last year, in order for the painting to truly capture her likeness!

For the special occasion, Kate opted for a red Whistles dress, teamed with a simple 167 Button Pendant by Asprey. The dress actually comes from their Autumn 2011 collection, so, unfortunately, we definitely can’t get our hands on this one! Plus, for the eagle eyed amongst you, yes, you have seen her wearing it before, as it was her dress of choice whilst on a UNICEF visit in Denmark back in November 2011.

So, here’s a couple of my favourites off of the high-street (above), as to help you to re-create her look. 1. Dorothy Perkins’ chiffon tiered dress, £32 is a great take on the look with its cute little collar and buttoned through front. 2. Boohoo’s Adriana long sleeve wrap dress is a complete steal at just £15!! 3. Or, a gorgeous patterned take on the look is French Connection’s Timber Jersey long sleeve dress, which is currently on sale for £25, instead of £62.

The 9th January marks Kate Middleton’s 31st birthday, and although I was clinging on to the hope that she’d make some kind of public appearance in a beautiful birthday gown, it turns out that the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a quiet night in with her Prince at their home in Anglesey instead.

Now, having no clue as to what she’s decided to wear to mark the occasion, (I really am disappointed that I can’t play the copy her birthday look game!) I’ll have to celebrate the Duchess’ birthday in a different way…by imaging what she wore and trying to steal that look instead! So, here comes three of my favourite gowns that the Duchess has worn in the past, as to inspire our own occasion wardrobes.

Look One: Black Lace
I love the Temperley black lace dress that she wore to the War Horse premiere in London’s Leicester Square, and 1) it’s currently on sale with a 30% reduction at Net-A-Porter, – you can snap it up for £2,030 rather than its usual price tag of £2,900.

Alternatively, in order to adhere to the Duchess’ lace theme, you could opt for 2) Paul & Joes’ black Saindoux Lace-Overlay Houndstooth dress, which is also currently reduced from £640 to £320 at Net-A-Porter. Or, try out 3) ASOS’ elegant drop waist lace dress for £55.

Look Two: Oriental Vibe
Earlier last year, Kate dined with the President, Tony Tan Keng Yam, whilst touring Asia, dressed in a purple and cream patterned dress from the Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Get the gorgeous oriental feel yourself with 1) Ted Baker’s Botanical Print shift dress on sale for £90 instead of £129 at ASOS. Then, just like Kate did, team the dress with a simple, yet oh so versatile black clutch, like 2) Accessorize’s Amy Clutch, which retails at £25.

Look Three:
Nobody wears a white dress like the Duchess, and one my favourites (bar that wedding dress, of course!) was her floor length white Roland Mouret gown from his 2009 collection. Now, that dress’ revealing split leg detail would even make Angelina jealous! I’ve spied that 1) Alessandra Rich has an amazing 40% off its white Silk Crepe de Chine maxi dress on Net-A-Porter, – £672, down from £1,120, and although this number doesn’t feature a leg split, add a sparkly clutch, like 2) Accessorize’s silver Amy Clutch, £25, and you’ll nail the look all of the same!

Welcome to my new blog that’s here to fulfil all of your Kate Middleton themed fashion needs. Everybody is obsessed with the Duchess’ style and so that’s where I come in, I’m here to keep you up to date with her latest outfits!

As we already know, the Duchess isn’t one to shy away from the high street, which means that her look is often easily accessible to emulate, but unfortunately for most of us, as soon as she’s pictured in an outfit, it’s already sold out by the times that we get the chance to shop it. So, I’m also on a mission to track down some of the best alternatives that the high street has to offer, and get you dressing just like the Duchess before you even know it!

Maternity Chic
Due to her recent pregnancy, the Duchess is currently taking things easy, and hasn’t been spotted out and about as much as usual, which also included missing the Royals’ traditional Christmas service gathering at Sandringham. Fingers crossed that she’s set to up her personal appearances again soon, as I’m sure that it’s not only me, who wants to see how she works a maternity wardrobe. Plus, as the influential style icon is set to be the most famous pregnant woman in the world throughout 2013, let’s hope that the high street will also take heed, and improve its maternity offerings too.

Kate was however spotted (above) looking ever the demure trendsetter just before Christmas, whereby she presented Olympic cyclist, Bradley Wiggins with the title of the nation’s favourite sportsman at the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Her outfit of choice? An emerald Alexander McQueen number!

Steal Kate’s Style

Her green Alexander McQueen dress certainly doesn’t factor into my post Christmas purchases, so, inspired by that eye catching colour, and all of that detailed structure, I’ve hunted down some more affordable alternatives (below) that are currently available online:

1. NET-A-PORTER is currently stocking a gorgeous ruched silk-jersey dress costing £510 by ISSA, and yes, it’s a great emerald green take on the Duchess’ famous engagement dress.

2. Keeping the length longer, just as Kate did at the awards, Tibi (New York) has a long teal peplum dress that’s now on sale, and will cost you $207 rather than its original $690 price tag.

3. Alternatively, switch that structured look for drapes with Phase Eight’s cross over maxi dress for £69 reduced from £120.

4. Or, opt for a shorter and more fitted party look with VENNA’s boat neck shift available for £113 in place of £189 at Reiss.
