After recently cancelling plans to have a big wedding, the couple decided to elope and married at Blackberry Farms in the Smoky Mountains of Walland, Tennessee, a luxury resort that sits on 4,200 acres.

For her big day, the blushing bride wore a stunning Temperley  London wedding dress. The lace gown featured long sleeves with small buttons and a V-neckline.

Kelly chose to wear her hair in a neat and elegant up’do, accompanied by an elegant headpiece by Maria Elena Headpieces, and kept her make-up minimal.

The bouquet was consistent with the Autumn season and featured sunflowers and Bluebonnets, the official flower of her home state of Texas.

  1. I took my 2 children to see Kelly Clarkson twice when she was fresh off from American Idol. Both performances were excellent (even though there was sound trouble in Berkeley). We were in the third row in San Jose & she was mesmerizing with her strong, sensitive & soulful voice. I can’t wait to show the picture of bridal Kelly to my daughter when she returns from college in a few days. We are life-long fans. I think she looks absolutely precious & beautiful in the lace & soft look along with the vibrant autumn tone flowers. Having the flower of her home state just goes to show she remembers where she came from & that’s awesome. Best wishes to the bride & groom! ~ Corinne
