Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged, and the proposal couldn’t have been more romantic!
The rapper popped the questions on Kim’s 33rd birthday on Monday by renting out the entire AT&T Park baseball stadium in San Francisco.
Kanye presented the reality TV star with a flawless 15-carat diamond ring created by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.
“Kanye was involved in every single way. He had a vision from the beginning. He looked at a lot of stones and he wanted only the best,” says a rep for Lorraine Schwartz. “He and Lorraine emailed back and forth, and stayed up nights discussing how he wanted it to be. He wanted the diamond to look like it was floating on air. Everything was his idea from beginning to end.”
“The ring is flawless. Not just internally flawless, it’s flawless. It’s a D-stone, the best diamond there is, type 2A,” shares the rep, adding “It’s a perfect cushion cut diamond.”
During the proposal, a 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful, followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye’s Knock You Down.
Behind the orchestra was the field’s jumbo screen, which flashed the sign, “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”
The finishing touch? Fireworks and Roman candles exploded into the night sky!
