Christenings, photoshoots and puffy eyes
Hello everyone! WOW what amazing weather we are having! It’s SO nice to be able to bask in the Mancunian sunshine..
So this weekend was my niece’s christening – May – May is my step sisters’ baby daughter, and she is absolutely beautiful.
We went to St John’s church, where her and her husband got married a few years ago, and it was also where her (May’s) brother got christened so this church holds a lot of happy memories for the family.
May wore a hand made christening gown which was created from Nicola’s wedding dress, this was obviously so very sentimental to her and a lovely touch… it was a great day, all the family were there to celebrate.
I wore a gorgeous necklace from Freedom at Topshop and a pretty white lace dress from my new Lipsy collection. Great for this hot weather!
You can’t get the dress online yet but you can get a blouse very similar from my current collection – the link to buy it is here:
So, I have been filming a lot this last week, but in between work I have been trying to get back into training, so Mark and I went to my local David Lloyd gym in Trafford. It’s great there because they have everything under one roof – indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, tons of classes, a nice café and a massive gym of course!
The fitness gear I wore was all from New Look. I have to say , I am really impressed with their range.
I have also been checking out the new Adanola range – this is a new leisurewear brand based in Manchester and they have just release their new collection. I spied this navy two piece on their website which is pretty cool.

The cross back bra is £32 and the mesh leggings are £49 – great if you go the gym a lot.
This twisted crop is also nice at £25 , and you could wear this outside of the gym too.
I had another Revlon shoot this week and this colour is going to be one of the Christmas shades. I love a really rich berry colour on my nails, so long as I have had a good manicure first, otherwise this kind of colour just highlights uneven nails or dry skin.
I can’t wear gel nails at them moment as I am in continuity, so varnish is my only option for the next 6 weeks or so. Fortunately this particular polish is very glossy and gives a gel like finish to them, so no one would know the difference!
A few people have commented on the behind the scenes pictures that came out from the Revlon shoot, and that I had dark hair. This campaign is out in the Winter and I will go from blonde back to my normal hair colour at the end of this filming project, so I wore a (very real looking ) wig!
I had to, otherwise the campaign would look a bit odd..
I am having some reaaaaaaallly early nights at the moment, because the morning call times are so early and I need my sleep more than ever!
However if I wake up early I have tendency to get puffy eyes. And I am sure you will all agree – this is NOT a good look.
Sometimes I get it pretty bad and it takes a good couple of hours for my eyes to wake up so the Rodial Dragons Blood Eye Maskesunder eye — is very good for this, I use it in the morning and by the time I have arrived on set my eyes are less puffy and much brighter. Result!
You can get them here: http://www.rodial.co.uk/skincare/our-ranges/dragons-blood/dragon-s-blood-eye-mask-individual-sachet
This weekend I’m not up to much, I don’t finish work till late Friday and on Saturday night I am going to go out with the girls for a bite to eat. I need to fit in a gym visit but I have decided that this will be weather dependent – IE I could just laze around in a garden somewhere or take the dogs for a walk.
I have written this in between takes from set, so apologies that it is a bit short I promise to make up for it next week
