Book News: We Were on a Break Cover Reveal!
As some (most? I hope) of you already know, when I’m not bankrupting myself in Sephora or bothering cats, I write books for a living. No, really, in spite of the shoddiness of this blog, my job is writing books. I know, it’s terrible.
Anyway, big news! My latest book has a cover! That’s pretty important, because you know how people say ‘never judge a book by its cover’? That is almost always true in every aspect of life except for when it comes to books. You should definitely judge a book by its cover, that’s why it has one. The designers probably spent weeks working on it so it could properly communicate the story inside. It’s a whole thing, so yeah, judge away.
This is the UK cover, the US and Canadian cover will be different even though the story won’t. Weird, right? As soon as I have that, I’ll post it here. We Were on a Break is out in the UK on October 6th and in the US and Canada January 2017, everywhere else in the world will get it at some point but I’m not entirely sure when. As soon as someone lets me know, I’ll let you know.
Most excitingly (although mostly for me) you can already pre-order it right here: http://amzn.to/1U792Hk
This is the (not terribly informative, we like to tease) blurb:
Is it a break? Or is it a blip?
LIV and ADAM are in love.
LIV and ADAM are supposed to be getting engaged.
Until ADAM accidently suggests they take a break.
And LIV starts thinking …
Friends, family and bystanders all have an opinion and one complication leads to another as Adam and Liv try to muddle through in this hilarious, heartwarming comedy.
Are they split up – or are they on a break? What exactly are they allowed to get away with? And, most importantly, what do Liv and Adam really want?
So, don’t hold back, what do you think? It’s blue! And there’s some pink! A a loudhailer and a lady! Leave a comment, Tweet me, Facebook me, Instagram me or Snapchat me… Yeaaaaah, I’m on social media a lot, I shouldn’t be but I am. Please don’t tell my editor. I’m super excited for this book to come out, it was a son of a bitch to get right and is actually split between the voices of Adam and Liv so you get to see both sides of the story, rather than just the super cool chick side. Because there are always two sides to every story, amirite?
But look, a book! A BOOK! A book that’s on Amazon and everything!
I think I’ve had too much coffee.
