My big announcement
How are you all? I have a very exciting announcement to make:
My new tour!
Gleb and I had always spoken about touring our show, but obviously now that Elena is pregnant and they’re settled in America, it’s a bit harder. And I totally understand that. But my big announcement is that I’m doing the tour with… Tristan MacManus! Mark Read from A1 will be our host and singer which is so exciting! It’ll be a small tour in October/November and I’m excited to say that we’re going around the UK including Ireland, to Tristan’s home country! I love Ireland. I’m very fond of Irish people – the lovely Daniel O’Donnell was my partner on Strictly.
We always get a special, very warm welcome in Ireland so I’m excited. We are planning something else much bigger in winter 2018, but for now, we’ve got the intimate tour this year. It’s going to be very interactive. People can ask questions, dance with us on stage – we just want to let people into our world. We’re both parents. Tristan’s daughter is just a couple of months older than Mila, but we’re so happy we can finally work together. It’s been a long time coming! Tickets are available here: http://www.strictlytheatreco.com/kristina-tristan
LA was amazing – but I am not moving there!
Now that I’ve got that off my chest, I want to tell you all about my trip to LA. It was an amazing trip and was so good to see my best friend and my old colleagues from Strictly. I stayed in the stunning Shangri-LA hotel which is owned by my friend Tamie Adaya.
Whilst there I saw Gleb and Artim and I must say I’m so proud of the boys. They’ve done an absolutely incredible job on Dancing with the Stars. They definitely have blossomed there and it was so nice to see them so happy. I also had lunch with Gleb’s wife Elena. She’s pregnant and it’s just so wonderful for them. She looked absolutely beautiful. It’s exciting for any family to have a baby and they’re looking forward to expanding their family.
I don’t know if you’ve seen but there’s been quite a lot of rubbish written about me in the press this week. Some of the things that were written were so ridiculous. Of course I’m not moving to America! It’s a little bit silly to say because I would not be that selfish to go there and drag my family there, or even go away for a couple of months. It was complete nonsense!
However I did see the producers who I worked with on the Dancing with the Stars tour nine years ago, who kind of helped me come over to the UK. They were all very aware of how successful my show with Gleb was on the West End, so we were talking about possible future projects, whether it’s a choreographing job or something like that. Who knows, the field is open? It’s nice to know that they respect my work and dance skills, and I’m on their radar. But I am definitely not moving to America!!
Lunch with Daniel O’Donnell
I was able to catch up with Daniel and his lovely wife Majella last week when they were in London, where Daniel’s been on his tour. I brought Mila along with me, so Daniel could finally meet her! They’re such lovely people and it’s so nice to keep in touch with my Strictly friends and see how each other is doing. There’s no charm like an Irish one, I always say!
I’m hallway through my yoga training and it’s just so fascinating and interesting. I’m learning about a whole new world of anatomy, physiology, history, philosophy and so on. There are different types of yoga you have to study. Yoga teacher training isn’t about doing yoga ten hours a day – it’s reading lectures, lectures and lectures and learning about the philosophy of yoga. I can’t wait to have my own wellbeing centre where I can teach all different types of yoga for different people. It’s all going in the right direction and I’m so happy I finally have time to go through with the course.
Fitness and make-up
I’ve been doing more fitness videos – have you been watching? I’d love to hear your comments!
As you know I’m a big supporter of UK charities. I really loved this website www.claireyounique.co.uk with beauty product and they support a very important charity http://youniquefoundation.org/
Their mission statement is to uplift empower and validate women. I adore this statement as women can be too quick to pull one another down. I know many women suffered bullying too it’s not fun. From every sale made a percentage goes towards funding the retreat for these women to go to and receive counciling, meet other women and form friendships and more importantly to heal.
I just discovered this incredible oxygen mask! I used it right after a long flight to LA before my night out and the result was fantastic! The mask is one of the best face masks I’ve tried! It’s made from bamboo charcoal and absorbs all the inpurities and toxins from your skin and reintroduces oxygen back into it. Leaving you silky soft! I find skin care a crucial part of my beauty regime. Always take care of your skin.
These brushes are amazing too and they are so soft! Also gentle to the skin! It’s the best brush kit I’ve ever seen and it’s a full package. I don’t need to look for anything else!
But have a look at the website! There are tons of incredible beauty products! www.claireyounique.co.uk

Anyway that’s all from me for now!

Until next time,
