Well it looks like spring is finally here! How nice is it to wake up to sunshine in the morning? I don’t know about you but I have a spring in my step and certainly have more energy. I’ve never realised that maybe the dark mornings and nights have an effect on me. I’m super happy that the new season is here. A change of wardrobe too! No more big puffy coats, I can go out in just a chunky knit as outerwear. I have a beautiful new cashmere sweater that I’m just in love with. It was a bit on the pricey side but I know I’ll have it for years! Its from Loro Piana and it the softest cashmere you’ll ever touch! Very retro aprés ski!
A high street go to for nice chinky knits this time of year is Zara, you can always rely on the Spanish brand to give you something affordable that looks a little bit luxury.
This oversized waistcoat is absolutely gorgeous. In classic camel it just oozes luxe. I love pairing camel with grey, not your obvious choice but it really works. For chiller days wear with a fine knit polo neck underneath.

You can’t go wrong with a cable knit can you? This white piece is also from Zara and £39.99. This can be thrown over just about anything. A slick of lipgloss, a pair of sunnies and you’re good to go! Click here to buy.
I didn’t really get into the whole fitnesses thing in January but the last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to hit a Barre class at least once a week, twice if possible. Being a mum and working on a new brand can lead to me not leaving the house much so I find that an hours class really gives me the head space I need to unwind and be ‘me’. Its helping tone me too which is a plus! There are tons on Barre classes across the capital but I go to Tri Yoga as its near by and I really like the teachers. I also try to walk with Nico wherever possible. Its so good for him to get out and get some air and walking is so great to keep fit. Good thinking time too! My favourite trainers right now for walking are the Adidas Deerut mesh trainers, I bought mine in Selfridges for £79.99.
Mine are white so end up in the washing machine often! They are incredibly comfortable and look really cool too. It’s so important to wear comfortable footwear when you walk. I learnt this throughout my pregnancy. It really does affect your back if what you have on your feet is not right. With the correct footwear I can walk for miles. With having Lupus I get pain in my knees too and if my shoes are not right boy do I suffer. I love heels but they only come out now and again and I can’t wear them for a long time. I find a platform is the best kind of heel/sole for me. It gives you the height, looks elegant and at least you weight is not pinpointing to one small tiny stiletto area! God I sound old!! haha!
This time of year I start thinking about summer holidays, dreaming of destinations to go to…..any ideas? Would love to hear from you! Just leave me a message or get in touch via my instagram @KellysWorldOffical Its got to be child friendly now, so bear that in mind!
