Happy new year!! Resolutions and detoxing….
Happy new year to you all, can you believe we are in 2019 already!!? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed some celebrations last night! This year was a very quiet one for us, all changes when you have babies!!, we were in bed by 11pm! Still, I don’t mind, I’d take a few extra hours sleep over a hangover any day!
So, New Years resolutions? I’ve not really set any, same old, same old I guess, eat more healthy, visit a gym more often…. if 2018 taught me anything it was to be grateful for life. Don’t take things for granted and just enjoy. The days, weeks and years go by far too quickly. Life is so precious.
One thing I’m looking forward to doing more of is getting out and about with Nico, taking him to the park, feeding the ducks etc. He’s 17 months now so is really aware of animals and nature. We’ve not actually fed the ducks yet so that will be lovely when we do. He’s actually got a new set of wheels to go out exploring in….
The Ickle Bubba Globe Stroller. Its khaki and rose gold so will not only compliment his gorgeous apricot hair but will look super cool in the park, toning with the greens and browns. Being a creative, things like that actually matter to me! haha! The Globe stroller is amazing, its incredibly light weight, weighing in at just 6.4kg, super compact (you take take on board the aeroplane), three position seat recline, spacious storage underneath, gate opening bumper bar, large hood to keep out those harmful rays, front and rear suspension for a very smooth ride and so much more. Nico loves it, he can be very upright so can see everything thats going on or if he’s tired I can recline it and he sleeps soundly.
The fabric finishes are beautiful, a quilted back with diamond shape stitching and the foot muff is gorgeously lined with a soft velvet. Its all very luxurious and will certainly turn heads. The best thing though is the price, you can have one of these Globe Strollers from just £199!
A great stroller for keeping in the boot of the car too, doesn’t take up much room leaving plenty of room for shopping bags! Its such a smooth stroller to push making it all that more of a pleasure to take out. A fantastic buy in my opinion!
The new year generally means detox time too but have you ever thought about a detox for your hair? We all put our hair through so much strain whether it be the weather or straightening irons and the hairdryer but we don’t ever think about giving it a treat. If our skin feels dry we may reach for a face mask or go for a facial so why not do something nice for your hair. During my pregnancy I really looked into natural haircare that actually works and there is not much out there, thats why I’m developing my own. Its going to be very special so watch this space!!
In the meantime, if you fancy detoxing your hair, naturally, heres how:
Use lemons or limes to give a detoxing rinse for your hair and scalp. Mix 2 cups of lemon or lime juice With one cup of water and I like to add a few drops of my favourite essential oil, usually lavender to calm and help me sleep. Gently pour the mixture over your hair after shampooing and conditioning and massage in for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Your hair will feel clean and will look shiny and smooth. Enjoy!
Thats all from me right now, good luck with any resolutions and speak soon,
