New year, different colour pram!
Happy new year to you all! I hope you had the most fabulous Christmas with your families and a great new years eve! This was the first year when I didn’t actually go out, instead we were in bed by 10.30pm and I stood in Nico’s nursery watching the fireworks, at Westminster, out of the window!! Times have changed!!
Our first Christmas as a family was very special but I could not believe how fast the day went, no time to sit down and watch a movie or anything! When your living to a schedule with a baby things are very different! Lovely but different!
Its the new year so I thought that I’d start to use a different pram. I’m lucky enough to have more than one pram for our little bubba Nico! I’ve mentioned the Bebecar before which is the Rolls Royce of baby wheels but I am also super lucky as I have a Diono Quantum. This is my go to pram for a more ‘rugged’ journey. It crosses any terrain like a dream! Days when Nicky & I go for winter walks in the woods or a brisk walk through the park. The features of the Diono Quantum Multi Mode Stolller are amazing; it has a 3-in-1 XL smart seat which can be used from birth as a bassinet but then cleverly converts (in a matter of minutes) to a toddler push chair seat. Its brilliant because there is no storage needed for the bassinet so if you’re out and about and your little one wants to sleep & lie flat you can just go from the push chair to the bassinet just like that!
The four tier canopy is another great feature, being so large there is no need for an additional umbrella when the sun is shinning. A perfectly placed peekaboo window means that you always keep an eye on your little one, even when the canopy is fully down.
The handle goes up super high too making it comfortable to push even for long legs like me! The brake is an easy one step button too making it usable even if your wearing sandals or flip flops. It folds down in seconds and has a handy carry strap making transporting easy. If you want to attach your car seat you can do so with the instant carrier adaptors.
All in all, a perfect travel system that is totally user friendly, a very comfortable ride for your baby and looks modern and sleek.
I chose stylish Blue for my Diono!
Nico is pretty much sleeping through now but every now and then he wakes around 4am and needs re settling. We do this in our extremely comfortable Kub nursing chair. We were never really fussed about having a nursing chair but when we sat in the Kub for the first time we were immediately swayed! It is so cosy and just makes feeding time a comfortable delight! We wouldn’t be without it! We went for Cream with white wood which compliments Nico’s grey and white room beautifully. It comes with a foot rest that also glides adding the the smooth experience! Its almost too comfy and we nearly fall asleep ourselves! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to get a feeding chair. Its available from John Lewis and is only £199! Nicky just about to feed Nico his bedtime bottle sitting in his favourite chair!
