First arrivals for the baby and me!
I hope you are enjoying the heatwave that the UK is experiencing? We always manage to be away when London is experiencing hot weather, annoying but at least where we are we are right next to the sea and swimming pool! We are on our last holiday before two become three, travelling will never be the same! Haha! We are not very good at packing light so with a little one in tow who knows how much luggage we will have!
Thank god for Ickle Bubba and their Aurora Stroller….it will make travelling a breeze for us when the baby is here.
Created with travel in mind and suitable for on-the-go parents looking for a light and compact pushchair without compromising on style, safety and quality. The Ickle Bubba Aurora has many practical features including multiple recline positioning and a lie flat option to support babies from birth. With built in dual suspension for effortless manoeuvrability, it provides the ultimate comfort for holiday and urban adventures.
The stroller was the first major ‘baby item’ to arrive and I got it out of the box immediately and could not believe how easy it was to put up and start strolling around! It is super easy and light to push, a real dream! I can’t wait to use it properly (i mean, with a baby inside!!) It comes with its own carry bag that you can carry over your shoulder and weighs a lightweight 5.5kgs! I went for the black on black but they do four funky colours. At £130 its a real bargain too, especially as it goes from birth right up until 3 years. A definite must in my books.

Something else that i’m all prepared with now, thanks to Bravado Designs, is maternity bras. I have just been wearing bigger sized, soft, un wired normal bras but I thought it was time to be wearing proper maternity bras and bras that can be used for feeding. Bravado is the original nursing bra created by two mums 25 years ago. Designed with comfort and style in mind there are many different designs to choose from depending on your lifestyle and shape. My favourite is the Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra.
Made with soft 4-way stretch fabric this bra moulds to your ever changing shape during pregnancy and with its full drop away bra cup you get maximum skin to skin contact with your baby when breastfeeding. Perfect! You can even convert it to a normal bra after you have finished nursing – genius! Priced at £30 and available in eight pretty colours. You won’t be disappointed.
So with the nursery being built (literally!) and decorated back home whilst Nicky & I realax in the sun all we can do is wait. So exciting! At 33 weeks the baby is moving so much more and I guess as there is not much room inside the movements are so much more intense, sometimes a little uncomfortable, especially when he/she kicks me in the ribs! I love it though, its so nice for a mum-to-be to be able to really bond with their child even before its born. At our last scan my doctor told me that our baby’s legs are the length of a baby 2 weeks ahead so we know it will be tall! Its so amazing what they can see on the scans, still fascinates me every time we go.
I’m off to lay in the shade by the pool so I wish you a wonderful day and catch up soon!
