Baby Loss Awareness Week and the Attitude awards

Last week was Baby Loss Awareness Week, with the focus on honouring those babies who are sadly no longer with us and raising awareness for the charities that support bereaved families across the UK. At the start of the week I went along to Facebook HQ in London to an event Clemmie Telford was hosting with Tommy’s – a charity I’ve been supporting for a while. I was happy to

Finishing a book, launching a podcast and Buzz starting school… sort of!

Hellooooo! Over the last month I’ve been finishing my next novel SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL, which will be published on 16th November. This book follows Lizzy who finds herself dumped when she should be getting a sparkling bit of bling put on her wedding finger. After ten years with her partner she realises how entwined their lives have become and starts looking back to the girl she was before they

Our big family holiday!

I was meant to write this while we were away but was enjoying the break too much. Then it’s been nonstop since we got back – HOWEVER, Buddy’s new habit is waking up half way through his nap. As soon as we go into his room he snuggles into our arms and falls asleep, although wakes any time we try to leave… so here I am with an hour to

Publishing date, training and my new projects!

Hello! I hope you’re all well. I won’t bother apologising for my absence the last few weeks as I’m pretty sure that’s how I’ve been starting every post this year. . . SORRY. This year is whizzing by. It’s been full of work to be honest, which is something I can’t really complain about. HOWEVER, it does mean that I have to knuckle down and get stuff done. It also

Breakfast club, Wimbledon and a series of book launches!

Oh my goodness, it’s been a while! I’m back on deadline so can mostly be found chained to my desk as I try to get a fresh story out of my brain and onto my computer screen. I’m not allowed to tell you anything about what I’m working on at the moment – but I think you can expect an announcement soon… very soon! Anyway, aside from me typing away

A tribute to my Nonna

Yesterday my Nonna passed away. You might think it’s too soon to be writing a post about it, but she’s being buried today. They don’t wait around in Italy. So, with that in mind, I thought I’d take some time to sit and reflect. To think about the wonderful lady she was and tell you a little about her. And she was wonderful. Truly. My 96year old Nonna didn’t speak

Italy with the family!

I know, I know! I’ve not been back from Walt Disneyworld that long, but last week we took another trip away and went to Italy with my dad, my sister Giorgie and her family. May is a fab time to go for us as the weather isn’t too warm and it’s still nice and quiet, meaning it’s a bit more comfortable for the little ones – and this time we

Back to life, back to reality!

We’re now back from Walt Disney World and slowly returning to our normal routines. I’ll be honest, for the first three nights we had at least one of the boys in with us in our bed, thanks to them waking up in the night. They were fine going down because they’d be shattered by the end of the day, but would wake up wanting to be with us. Considering they’d

Radio Silence…

I feel I ought to start with an apology. I’ve been on holiday and before that I was working to a big flipping writing deadline and trying to clear out loads of the house because the building work has progressed into redecorating the areas that haven’t been knocked about in the renovation work. Anyway, all that means is I’ve been shoddy when it comes to all things social media. Blogs,

The Tommy’s awards and a very exciting announcement!

The last time I posted I was telling you why I was excited about hosting the Tommy’s awards. Well, I have since done that and I’m thrilled to say that the whole every was as emotional and special as I hoped it would be. It was so humbling chatting to the people there who’ve been affected by stillbirth or miscarriage and have been helped in some way by the charity.
