知り合いがミラノで一番古いワインショップ [Le Cantine Isola] に連れて行ってくれました。

A friend of mine took me to oldest wine shop “Le Cantine Isola” in Milan.

かっこいいおじさんが一番気に入っているワインを紹介してもらって購入。個性的な味でとても美味しかった。

I asked the owner to show me which wine is his favourite. I took it home and shared with my friends and it was quite unusual but was delicious!

口の中で懐かしい味と小学校と中学校の卒業式やテニスの試合で勝った時に作ってくれたことを思い出しました。

二科展に入賞した聖子おばちゃんの写真を見に行った帰りに中華料理屋さん。ロンドンではこれが中華!と言うお店に出会ったことがないので、とても満足でした。行列ができるほどのお店。This Chinese restaurant in Nogizaka in Tokyo was so tasty!

日本夏休みの最後の日。お刺身たくさんとビールと日本酒で。。。あー、いいですね。The last day of holiday in Japan. Full of sashimi, Japanese beer and sake. A perfect evening. Xx

This is Japanese breakfast buffet at the Tokyo disneyland hotel. Actually we eat a lot In the morning. Not sure British people can eat this much?! 日本のホテルの朝ごはん。ビュッフェスタイルで、種類がたくさん!私の知っている英国人達はコーヒーとトースト。この朝ごはんを見てどうおもうでしょうか?リオンは喜んでたくさん食べていました。

Had a great time in Japan with all my family. I have more than 20 cousins in Japan and didn’t have much time to meet them all but had a quality time with me parents and my closest cousins. 2年ぶりの日本。二家族で25人のいとこを持つわたしは、みんなに会いたいと思っても今回はちょっと無理でした。。。。兄妹ののように育った雅彦とともチャン家族と楽しい2週間を過ごしました。

WAGYU.

和牛!

Homemade Frozen Foods Part 2 ‘chicken’

Steam chicken salad

This steam chicken salad is a perfect salad for this summer.

  • Chicken breast
  • Spring onion
  • Ginger
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

Sauce

 

  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated sesame seeds
  • Pinch of sea salt

 

Mix all together.


 

1. Poke chicken with fork so heat go through quickly.

2. Place chicken in a bowl, and add chicken, ginger, and spring onion, pinch of salt and pepper and Clim film it to make sure it sealed.
3. Put in microwave for 4 mins and leave it for another 3 mins.
4. Remove chicken from a bowl and let it cool down.

5. Sliced chicken very finely or tear it a part with hands.

No need to use all of the chicken at once!

How to chicken freeze

Keep a handful of chicken and you can keep rest in freezer.

Might be nice to wrap in Clim film in smaller portion so you can just take one out whenever you need.

 

6. Hand full of bean-starch vermicelli in a boiling water for 2 mins and drained. Rinse it well.
7. Add bean-starch vermicelli and few slice of cucumber and tomatoes and add them all together in a serving bowl.
8. Add the sauce and ready to eat.

Prawn miso soup.

フィッシュマーケットで購入したエビでお味噌汁。頭付きでだしがたっぷりきいて美味しい。毎日食べられます。

Cooked miso soup with prawn. Great Dashi flavour and I can eat everyday x

Also, I have a memory about this soup.

When I was child, I went sushi restaurant with my dad. I was eating prawn sushi. Sushi chef saw me and he thinks I was really enjoying eating prawn then he cooked me prawn head miso soup just for me to service! It was amazing prawn dashi taste and I never forget that lovely memory.
