Those of you that follow my blog will know that I used to live in Toledo until I was 16, before moving back to Madrid.
Toledo is a beautiful city about an hour outside of Madrid and somewhere I would definitely recommend visiting.
I always like to return to this marvellous city, firstly to see many of my good school friends who still live here and secondly because I am a patron of a wonderful foundation called the Royal Foundation of Toledo.
Yesterday I had a meeting with the management and the board for the charity who took these pictures of me at the headquarters of the foundation, the house of the sculptor Victorio Macho, called Roca Tarpeya, which is now open to the public as a museum.
I strongly recommend a visit to this spot, the views of Los Cigarrales from the secret enclave of Old Toledo is an unforgettable experience. And if after the visit you feel like something to eat, I would suggest La Venta de Aires a centennial restaurant in the centre of the city that serves delicious food.
I hope you all have a good weekend.
