hello

A photoshoot in picturesque northern Spain

Hi everybody,

Today I want to show you the ‘making of’ for the last photoshoot that I did with photographer Julio Rodero and Hair & Makeup Artist Eva Villar…

The shoot took place in Sorribas, Asturias – a marvelous place in the north of Spain with the stunning backdrop of the Picos de Europa mountain range. We got up early and the day dawned foggy, so we had to wait for a while to be able to take the pictures. However, as the morning progressed, the weather got better to the point that it turned into an almost summery day – fantastic for the shoot!

Our model Blanca arrived on time with all her troop to Rub
ianes Palace, where we took the pictures. The palace has been converted into a hotel and golf course with spectacular views. In addition, there are also rural houses that can be rented throughout the year – the perfect place to go to with friends or family for a holiday getaway. The owner, Angel, is lovely and he spent the whole day taking care of the team. I recommend you to take a look at the website and, if you go to Asturias, I really recommend it. They also organise events at the palace so if you are looking for a special wedding venue in the north of Spain then this is a perfect location! See Veredales

The day was terrific, with Blanca as the model it was very easy to get great pictures that we wanted. Also her family, her two children Lucía and Martín and her nephew Alvaro are all absolutely charming – it turned the day into a great experience of friends and family.

I hope you like both the ‘making of” pictures, you can see the final result in November fashion special from  HELLO!’s sister publication Hola.

Kisses,

Eu
