A visit to Monkey Forest

Good morning all,

During my holidays in Bali (I want to go back!) we went on a day trip to Ubud. Surrounded by rice plantations, Ubud is an important cultural and art centre, since the mid 20th century, where important art figures have met to share knowledge and be inspired by Balinese art. Located on the outskirts of the city you can find the Monkey Forest, a sacred natural reserve containing a special temple that is home to over 340 monkeys.

We visited the rice plantations and Monkey Forest while we were there, I even had a run-in with two monkeys while I was there (you may have seen the ‘attack’ video on my instagram (instagram.com/itseusilva)-  they aren’t very friendly monkeys!

Today I’m posting some pictures of the day trip and my look for the day:
Pink denim shorts by Zara
T-shirt by the Hip Tee
Necklace by Surmara for EuStyle
Trainers by Nike
“Tatiana” bag by Muzungu Sisters for EuStyle
Sunglasses by Life Italia

I’m wondering how I’m going to adjust going back to reality?!  Although it’s going to be a great school year, I’m sure!

A big kiss to all,
