One of the days, while I was in Baños de Montemayor, I took a long walk with my family to Villa Pilar – home of my paternal grandparents, Cristóbal and Pilar. From there we continued down the road to the old train station, which is now a gorgeous little picnic area and a small park with swings for children.
Villa Pilar is a spectacular house, now owned by my uncles. It has a garden on the edge of a small river that runs through the village and it’s surrounded by magnolia trees. During the summers when I was a young girl, we used to spend the days there visiting family and I have such lovely memories of fun and relaxing afternoons there.
For the long walk I’m wearing comfortable clothes…
I hope you like today’s look!
