Summer in Madrid

I love Madrid during summer. Even though it is boiling hot, I love it! You can do so many things in this city during the day that you can’t imagine doing anywhere else in the world.

One of my favorite things to do in Madrid is eating on the terrace of the numerous viewpoints, where you can eat some amazing fried chicken. The views are breathtaking- the whole of the south of Madrid is at your feet, you can even see the roller coaster from the amusement park! The only problem with Madrid’s viewpoints is that once you get comfortable, it is so hard to leave because you end up wanting to spend all afternoon there- I can’t seem to drag myself away everytime I visit. Also, the walk from Pintor Rosales is beautiful, with the Temple Debod, Plaza España, the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral and the Segovia bridge. If you’re crazy busy working all week it is a great way in the evenings to catch a moment of relaxation. At the weekends it can get very busy but the earlier you visit the better it is.

I’m wearing jeans from Black Orchid Denim, which are so comfortable. The are elasticated and come in amazing colors. The t-shirt is from The Hip Tee, my bag is from Zubi and the suede ballerina shoes are from Canden Garden for Eustyle and the filigree earrings are from Spanish & Sisters also from Eustyle.

I really want to tell you about my new glasses for summer . As you probably already know, I like to try new colours that, at other times during the year, I wouldn’t dare experiment with. The ones I like most are the light green Jade Imperial number 34 and Bronze Pyrite  number 35, both from Yves Saint Laurent.

Also I wanted to show you my new find: Lierac Hydra Chrono Serum and the moisturizer from the same brand Luminescence. They are very light and not at all greasy. My sister recommended it to me (I love to try products that friends recommend)

I hope you like it!
