My secret spot for brunch

I’m spending a few hours in Madrid before flying off again. I’ll share with you an unmissable spot here.

A few months ago my friend Missy opened Maricastaña, a restaurant in Malasaña, one of the city’s trendiest areas. You’ll find it at Calle Corredera Baja de San Pablo, 12.

We celebrated my mum’s 60th birthday and whenever I am here at the weekend I go and have brunch and read the newspapers. They also have a great selection of international fashion magazines

I love their menu which changes every day and don’t miss the tuna… The refurbishment was by Plantea and the decor is by Madrid in Love. The results are incredible. It’s a cosy place, where you’ll want to stay forever.

I hope to see you soon in Maricastaña!
