I love Reiss; their clean, minimalist, luxurious aesthetic is right up my street. The Duchess of Cambridge is also a fan; she has been known to frequent (and then sell out) their dresses.
Their debut fragrances are in keeping with that ethos; Reiss Grey Flower for Women and Reiss Black Oudh for Men.
Grey Flower for Women has a centre of sequoia wood, jasmine noir and cocoa leaf, a base of olibanum, amber crystals, patchouli and baies. It’s classic, modern and elegant. I’m not one for overpowering sickly sweet, overly fruity scents so Grey Flower for Women is right up my street.
Black Oudh for Men has top notes of laurel leaf and green cypress, a heart of sequoia wood, clary sage and vetiver and black oudh, black musk and amber at the base. Mr 32 Boroughs is particularly taken with it.
These scents have been months in the making according to David Reiss, Founder & MD of the brand: “The luxury experience is driven by stimulating the senses within a space; whether visually inspiring through print and silhouette, texturally enticing in beautiful fabrication or indeed provoking a response with a bespoke scent. We are excited to be enhancing our offering with the launch of our debut fragrances, blended with a master perfumer in our modern, sensuous and iconic environment.”
