Clarins Graphic Expressions Autumn Make-Up Collection

I’m a sucker for products that emphasise eyes and this season, Clarins have come up trumps with their graphic expressions collection. They’ve re-launched their ‘3 Dot liner’ (£20) and brought out a new kohl crayon (£17) and ‘Be Long’ mascara (£21).

The 3-Dot Eye Liner was first launched in 2012 but this time it has been enriched with growth-stimulating ingredients which condition lashes as you weave the pen tool between them. The triple point sponge applicator gives very precise lines so even the most eyeliner challenged should be able to use it with ease.

I go through eye pencil almost as much as I do mascara so I’m rather fond of the new Clarins kohl. I don’t wear any colour other than black so have been using this crayon eye pencil as a traditional kohl inside the lower lash and around the eye contour area. The pencil comes with a free sharpener and a natural hair brush applicator so you can smudge and contour to your heart’s content.

My go to mascara is Clarins Wonder Perfect and I didn’t think I could be swayed but the new Be Long mascara has improved on an already winning formula. With active ingredients Matrikine (a peptide that enhances lash growth) and Panthenol (which helps strengthen lashes) along with a specially designed, tilted brush, you can get away with just the one application for lashes to be visibly lengthened. The brush also has a seven-degree incline, which helps the mascara stay on the lashes only, preventing any smudges or clumps.

The Clarins Graphic Expressions collection is perfect for those who like to make their eyes the focus of the face. They are the windows to the soul after all!
