As the weather turns colder and the central heating goes up, our skin can be depleted of moisture. Cold winds outside and drying a/c inside means we have to give extra consideration to our skincare routine.
My latest beauty find is Origins Drink Up intensive overnight mask. It contains Japanese seaweed, avocado oil and mango butter to help moisturise your skin as you sleep.
It’s always worth paying special attention to your night time skincare routine as your skin repairs itself as you sleep and the products you use then will have a better chance of effecting any necessary changes to your skin.
Apply a thin layer of the mask (which looks like moisturising cream) to skin after cleansing and toning and wipe off any excess with a tissue. I recommend sleeping on a silk pillowcase (I use a Sheridan) as they are kinder to your skin and your hair. It also means any residue product on the pillowcase can eventually be worked back into your skin as you toss and turn during the night.
To notice a difference I had to use the mask twice a week for at least two weeks but once I’d done that, I did notice that my skin was feeling more moisturised.
